Cacao Ceremony & Sacred Dance

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of a Cacao Ceremony is to open the heart, deepen the connection to the heart, and deepen the connection to your body. This beautiful ancient medicine offers so much grounding with an opening of the heart. We as humans have many protective barriers around the heart for so many reasons, and sitting with cacao allows us to drop some of those barriers and reconnect to the love that you are, the essence that you are. While deepening the connection to your heart and dropping those protective layers, you begin to become more present and embodied. Oftentimes we are not fully in our bodies because it is our way to cope with all of the unprocessed energy we hold in the body, by being in the head, or dissociating, or wrapped up in stories of fear, shame, guilt, worry, etc. This is why we bring in movement to the body through dance and any movement expression. When we are invited more into our body and out of the head, you can access the energy and emotion in the body more. Moving energy in the body can be fun, can be wild, can be anything it needs to be, and by giving permission to the body to move how it needs, can offer such a huge clearing and even deeper connection to yourself, your inner wisdom, clarity, and belonging.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 circle sharing, a Cacao Ceremony,  ecstatic dance, and closing circle. We begin by sharing with the women what is present for you and your intentions,  you will be led through a very intentional Cacao Ceremony to tune into the wisdom of the Cacao Spirits and your heart. From there we transition into the ecstatic dance. If you're not familiar, ecstatic dance is a silent dance connecting with the energy in the body and how your body is responding to the movement and music. It's also an opportunity to let yourself express parts of you you may be hiding that want to come out, through the form of dance, to show yourself to meet yourself. It's not about the dance, rather the expression for you to show up, clear, and meet yourself. We dance for an hour, then come back to the room and circle to close for the night.
