accommodation & Amenities details

LOCATION

7 Sisters Retreat is located on a boat-accessed, off-grid piece of land, stewarded by Laura Carrie.

Located near Parry Sound, 3 hours north of Toronto, this gorgeous land is surrounded by 1000s of acres of untouched, pristine forest, a quiet lakefront, and blanketed with incredible stars at night.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Tent

There are a few locations available for the tent depending on your preference. One location closer to one of the cabins, and another more tucked in the forest in a slightly more private location for the more adventurous camper. We invite that you bring your own tenting gear and bedding. Options may be available if you need gear.

Bunkies

There are two cozy, wood aroma bunkie accommodations: The Fox Den & The Owl's Perch.

Both have solar powered electricity, room for clothes, each of you will get your own bed, and are close to the outhouses, outdoor shower, and main cabin. Bedding is provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

The Fox Den is shared between two women & has one bunk bed; a double size bed on the bottom and a single on the top.

The Owl's Perch is shared between three women & has a loft with a double bed, a queen bed underneath the loft, and a single bed.

ALL OTHER AMENITIES

As mentioned before, this is an off-grid space tucked away in a gorgeous untouched forest on a small lake. This is a boat access only property. Parking is available on the mainland, in a small parking lot, or at the end of a dead end lane a short walk down the road. You can choose your own adventure to access Timber Trails cabin; either a short boat ride that we will pick you up in or a 10 minute canoe paddle across the lake on your own.

There is a main cabin with a fully functioning kitchen, 2 outhouses, an outdoor shower with cold water, and a gorgeous front deck overlooking the water. We also have a variety of small platforms around the magical landscape for the sun-worshippers, a dock at the water, canoes and kayaks to enjoy, very little cell service, and solar panel powered electricity in the main cabin and bunkies.

All meals will be provided, including snacks, water, coffee, and tea. Feel free to bring your own snacks if you have special items you'd like to bring.

There is a dock at the water, swimmable lake, and rough hiking trails in the bush. Incase of rain there is a main cabin with a wood fire stove to keep us warm and cozy where we can continue the weekend activities.
