Accomodation Details:
Bunkies
There are two cozy, wood aroma options for bunkie accommodatinos; The Fox Den & The Owl's Perch. Both have enough space for two women. You will have your own bed, room for clothes, and solar powered electricity. There is an outhouse walkable from the bunkies and a cold-water outdoor shower. Bedding and pillows will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
There are 4 spaces for this option.
Tents
This option is for those who are looking to have more of a wilderness experience. There are two options for tenting on this land. We have two large tent deck platforms, so you will have a sturdy foundation and a spot close to the amenities and other women. There is also an off-the-path area for tents up the hill a little walk further from the main cabin (5 minute walk) where you can make your own forest nest for the weekend amongst the trees and wild plants.
If you would like to share a large tent with someone you know, this is an option for you! We also have large tents available if you don't have one of your own. Please let us know in your registration form.
All Other Amenities
As mentioned before, this is an off-grid space, tucked away in a gorgeous untouched forest on a small lake. This is a boat access only property. Parking is available on the mainland, in a small parking lot, or at the end of a dead end lane a short walk down the road. You can choose your own adventure to access Timber Trails cabin; either a short boat ride or 10 minute canoe paddle across the lake. There is a main cabin with a fully functioning kitchen, a few bunkies, 2 outhouses, an outdoor shower with cold water, and a gorgeous front deck overlooking the water. We also have a variety of small platforms around the magical landscape for the sun-worshippers, a dock at the water, canoes and kayaks to enjoy, very little cell service, and solar panel powered electricity in the main cabin and bunkies. All meals will be provided, including snacks and water. Feel free to bring your own snacks if you have special items you like to have, as well as any alcohol or other substances that you may prefer in a moderate manner (This is welcomed, however, to maintain integrity of the weekend, is encouraged to keep at a minimum). There is a dock at the water, swimmable lake, and rough hiking trails in the bush. Incase of rain there is a main cabin with a wood fire stove to keep us warm and cozy where we can continue the weekend activities. Most of us are feeling the overwhelm of a fast-paced world and are disconnected from the Earth. We are nature beings, meant to be in a slower connection to Self and Nature. This weekend retreat is an opportunity to unplug, slow down, and reset the nervous system to bring back a sense of clarity and peace to our lives. Our focus will be to align with the five elements; Aether, Earth, Fire, Water, & Air.
